The StaffBank for Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust is seeking enthusiastic & experienced Community Ward Health Care Assistants to join our Staff Bank workforce. This role is with Surrey Downs Health and Care (SDHC), covering community locations including Dorking Hospital, Molesey Community Hospital, and Mary Seacole Unit.
Role Purpose: To support and assist senior team members in providing high standards of care and promoting physical, mental, and emotional health to individuals and client groups.

Clinical Responsibilities:
* Support and assist senior team members in delivering high standards of care and health promotion.
* Participate effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team, carrying out assigned direct care tasks.
* Undertake clinical interventions delegated by senior team members.
Administrative and Clerical Duties:
* Maintain accurate, signed, and up-to-date records following SDHC procedures.
* Manage telephone communications and respond appropriately.
* Handle data entry and record keeping, including mileage and leave records.
Team Working:
* Collaborate as part of the team, participating in procedures and duties to established standards.
* Maintain communication with senior team members regarding relevant issues.

* Support health promotion activities, including care needs assessment and holistic care planning.
* Assist in educating and informing patients' families and carers.

* Participate in clinical governance and risk management strategies.
* Perform other duties reasonably required within the scope of the role.
* Be prepared to work from different locations temporarily, as needed.
