The organisation works in partnership with a range of agencies to deliver high-quality, person-centred services across Northern Ireland.
Your new role
As an Administration & Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the service. Acting as a first point of contact, you will handle enquiries with professionalism and empathy, often supporting individuals in sensitive or emotional situations.You will provideprehensive administrative support to the wider team, including managingmunications, maintaining accurate records on case management systems, and supporting service delivery through coordination of appointments, referrals, and documentation.The role also involves:
1. Managing reception and telephone enquiries in a busy environment
2. Supporting clients and stakeholders face-to-face and remotely
3. Coordinating diaries, bookings, and meeting arrangements
4. Maintaining office systems, supplies, and records
5. Assisting with service delivery, including risk assessments and referrals where required
6. Liaising with external agencies and partners
7. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with organisational policies, including confidentiality and safeguarding
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will need to work both independently and as part of a team.
What you'll need to succeed
8. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English, with at least 1 year’s administrative experience
or 5 years’ experience in an administrative role
9. Strong organisational skills with the ability to managepeting priorities
10. Excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal
11. Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
12. Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emotionally demanding situations
13. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
15. Experience using data systems or case management software
16. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
Desirable:
17. Experience supporting vulnerable individuals
18. Background in the voluntary ormunity sector
19. Understanding of the Northern Ireland justice system
