The Role
As a Payroll Advisor, you will support the payroll team during a vital system implementation, ensuring seamless parallel runs and data analysis. Your responsibilities will include processing payrolls, reviewing pay adjustments, managing payroll queries, and assisting with ad hoc year-end activities. You will be involved in reviewing and improving payroll processes, documenting procedures, and ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
* Proven extensive payroll experience in a fast-paced working environment
* Experience supporting payroll system implementation projects
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Up-to-date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation, including HMRC compliance
A recognised CIPP payroll qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
