Were looking for a Transport Operative to join a busy operation near Heathrow, helping to coordinate driver activity and ensure smooth, efficient freight movement across the UK. What Youll Do Monitor and support a fleet of drivers (owned and subcontracted) Handle inbound calls and client bookings via phone and email Quote nationally on loads (from small vans to full loads) using the Haulier Exchange platform Plan and optimise driver routes and vehicle use Ensure compliance with driver hours and safety regulations Perform driver debriefs and support onboarding and training Maintain excellent customer service and provide timely updates What Youll Need 3 years experience in logistics or warehousing Solid knowledge of UK geography and manual route planning Strong understanding of vehicle types, load capacity, and courier operations Experience with Haulier Exchange (preferred) Familiarity with EU Driver Hours Regulations and aviation security (advantageous) Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills Benefits £29,000 salary incl. overtime 25 days holiday bank holidays Pension (salary sacrifice scheme) Life Assurance (Death in Service)
