Job Overview
The Talent Acquisition Resourcer is an integral part of the talent acquisition and employee experience function at TVS, supporting the wider team with the identification and attraction of the best candidates in the market. The role is also a critical support function covering the administration of daily recruitment activities and maintenance of the applicant tracking system (ATS) and assisting with the onboarding of new starters, right to work checks and other vetting requirements.
Job Responsibilities
* Supporting the Talent Acquisition function by identifying suitable candidates using:
o The in-house ATS
o External job boards
o LinkedIN
o Social Media
o Trade publications
o Recruitment & Marketing events
* Creating attractive external job adverts for multi-site posting such as job boards, LinkedIn and the TVS careers website
* Populating the ATS system with candidate details and obtaining GDPR consent
* Ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
* Carrying out right to work checks
* Supporting the wider vetting team with ID and reference checks, proof of residency and employment history checks.
* Producing and issuing contracts of employment
* Administrating entitlement to work & security applications for candidates
* Tracking CV submissions, interviews, offers, security & start dates
Qualifications and Skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good standard of education with a minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English to grade 5
* Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills
* Good computer skills in particular with Excel, Word and other MS Office packages
* Ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work
* Tact and discretion, when dealing with confidential information
* Previous experience of using job boards, LinkedIn and recruitment software is an advantage but not essential

Security Clearance Requirement
Candidates must be eligible to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance. This process includes verification of identity, right to work in the UK, employment history, and a basic criminal records check for unspent convictions. Please note that candidates must have resided in the UK for 3 years to meet BPSS eligibility requirements.
