Production Planner Pay, Hours and Benefits
* 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (with some flexibility)

The Production Planner role is commutable from: Derby, Nottingham, Sutton in Ashfield, Mansfield, Chesterfield.
Production Planner Candidate Requirements
* Understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
* Strong ownership and influencing skills to work across various stakeholder groups.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in supply chain management within manufacturing.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential).
* Proficient in Excel.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and implement MRP recommendations to ensure OTIF across products.
* Input into item parameters and BOM changes based on commodity knowledge, ensuring efficiency and integrity.
* Coordinate with Production to plan capacity and schedule work.
* Prepare sales order data to facilitate order management.
* Manage daily orders through production.
* Communicate with Sales regarding fulfilment dates and stock availability.
* Resolve issues within the production process to achieve OTIF.
* Ensure timely shipping and invoicing of sales orders.
* Collaborate with Production Planning Analyst for forward planning.
* Maintain documentation related to Production Planning activities, including Process Instructions, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
* Contribute to process improvements across the business.
