Become a Children’s Team Manager for Bury

About the role
We are embarking on a new journey in Bury, adopting innovative approaches. We value Team Managers as vital to our progress and are committed to developing your skills and supporting your learning. This role is both challenging and rewarding in social work.
We seek talented practitioners to influence our service development, fostering growth and confidence within teams. You will work alongside Adult Practitioners within the Hertfordshire Family Safeguarding Model, which emphasizes multi-agency collaboration, motivational interviewing, and family-centered support to improve outcomes for children and families.
Responsibilities and Team Structure
You will lead a team including an Advanced Social Work Practitioner, five Social Workers, and other specialists such as domestic abuse officers and mental health practitioners. Your oversight will include cases involving child in need, child protection, pre-proceedings, and care proceedings.
