GSL Education are seeking a dynamic Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming school in Tickhill, DN11. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical lessons across Key Stages, equipping pupils with the skills and confidence to thrive in technology-driven careers.
Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that inspire curiosity and creativity.
* Cover topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, and digital literacy.
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the ICT and Computing curriculum.
Requirements for the role:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and related technologies.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners.
* Passion for promoting digital literacy and computational thinking.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
