Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (CNC / Electrical Bias)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Stability + Days Role + Modernisation Projects
Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical qualifications and experience working on CNC machines or machine tools, looking for a stable, days-based role within a specialist manufacturing environment?
On offer is the opportunity to join a long-established, niche engineering business, working on a mix of modern CNC equipment and legacy machinery as part of an ongoing site improvement and investment programme.
In this role, you will carry out fault finding, maintenance, and improvements across a range of production equipment, including CNC machines, PLC-controlled systems, and conventional machinery. You will also support refurbishment, automation, and rebuild projects.
This role would suit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias and experience in machining, production, or engineering environments, looking for a stable role with varied work and long-term security.
The Role
Fault find, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems
Work on CNC machines, PLCs, HMIs, and conventional machine tools
Support refurbishment, rebuild, and automation projects
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Work closely with production to improve reliability and efficiency
The Person
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias)
Experience with CNC machines / machine tools / manufacturing equipment
Electrical qualifications (NVQ / HNC / HND / 18th Edition beneficial)
Basic mechanical knowledge (hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission)
Able to work independently and as part of a team
