About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture combining expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial, and BAM Nuttall. These partners specialize in designing, constructing, operating, financing, and maintaining railway networks, including Europe's latest high-speed rail project.
We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our Engineering team in the Aylesbury area. The Site Engineer will be responsible on site for overseeing junior engineers and assisting in construction operations. All applicants must hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle due to the remote locations of our site compounds.
The Site Engineer will liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, and materials to meet project standards, schedule, and budget. They will work with the setting-out team, oversee the performance and development of junior engineers, and resolve technical problems on site in coordination with senior team members and the Sub-Agent. Additionally, they will monitor subcontractors to ensure work completion aligns with contractual requirements.
The role involves ensuring the team has current information and resources, assisting with programme and progress reports, resource and cost planning, and contributing to financial forecasting.
