About The Role
The Day Service Locality Deputy Manager has day‑to‑day operational responsibility for the service and the team to ensure we provide high‑quality day opportunities for the people we support. You will support the Locality Manager to achieve this, through robust quality monitoring to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, financial stability through effective budgeting and financial management, whilst providing hands‑on supervision and management.

About You
We’re looking for someone with energy and drive to help lead our in‑house day services through an exciting period of change. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the County Council, using your problem‑solving skills and creativity to guide and support your team. Strong communication, IT skills, and the ability to think on your feet are key, along with a willingness to learn and help others grow. Essential Qualifications
* Health and Social Care RQF Level 4 and willingness to complete the Health and Social Care Level 5 when in post
* A minimum of 2/3 years experience working in a social care or related setting (e.g., education or health)
* A good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills
