Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. As a Roadside Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' experience, you’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and end your day at home, tackle challenges head-on, and make a real impact on the roadside by combining technical expertise with outstanding member service.

Responsibilities
* Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support.
* Perform fault finding, diagnostic work, and on-site repairs to restore customers’ vehicles quickly and safely.
* Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members when breakdowns occur.
* Represent the RAC with professionalism and a focus on excellent customer service on every call-out.
What you’ll need
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent), with at least 2 years of post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence

As a Roadside Technician within our Patrol division, you’ll deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics, and breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and end your day at home, work with the tools and diagnostics to handle a range of calls, and contribute to a reliable, high-quality service for RAC members.
