We are currently looking for a part time Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor based in London who will develop leaders on all matters pertaining to health, safety and wellbeing. Support Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager in the development and implementation of HSW strategy in support of Skanska’s IFE programme. Please note that this is a part time position consisting of 20 hours a week.
As the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor, you will:
1. Assist with the implementation of the UK Health and Safety strategy and with the development of the Facilities Services Health and Safety framework, targets and objectives.
2. Support the business with the mobilisation of new contracts.
3. Contribute to UK level forums for Health, Safety and Wellbeing improvement.
4. Advise, guide and coach all personnel on the contract regarding the implementation of the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS).
5. Driving improvement at Operational Director level in accordance with the UK HS&S KPIs.
6. Support the General Managers and Operations Managers in the production, review and implementation of the Construction Phase Plans / Project Execution Plan.
We are looking for:
7. Previous experience in relevant a field of Construction or Facilities Services.
8. NEBOSH General Certificate.
9. Technician grade membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH) or above.
10. Experience in OHSAS 18001 internal auditing.
11. Working towards CMIOSH is desirable.
