Got a Boxing or Martial Arts qualification ? A recognised Gym Instructor qualification ? A Climbing Wall Instructor qualification ? Or experience in delivering multi-sports sessions ? Be part of an inclusive and engaging youth work team that delivers safe, fun, and inspiring creative activities for young people.
Motivate, encourage, and support young people to try new things and fully take part in sessions.
Deliver high-quality activities across Boxing & Martial Arts, Gym, Climbing, and Multi-Sports (including SEND sessions), ensuring a varied and inspiring programme.
Champion young people’s voices, ensuring their ideas and feedback help shape the sports and fitness offer.
Contribute to the delivery team’s goals, including attendance targets and outcomes for funded projects.
You will have experience of:
A recognised Gym Instructor qualification and/or Climbing Wall Instructor qualification or Boxing (depending on the role applied for)
Some experience of working with young people in a supportive, coaching, or developmental role.
Understanding of sports coaching or youth work principles, with a willingness to support young people with additional needs (SEND experience welcomed but not essential).
Awareness of safeguarding and health & safety (training provided).
Confidence in promoting positive behaviour and managing challenges (desirable but not essential).
