We have exciting opportunities for Technicians to join the UK’s largest and most diverse geotechnical and ground engineering contractor.

What you'll be doing:
* Getting out and about, gathering geotechnical and geoenvironmental data from a wide range of work environments across the UK.
* Support team members in the management of geotechnical project data.
* Assist with various field activities to enable the assessment and analysis of geotechnical conditions and investigations
* Playing a key role in the preparation and processing of samples for laboratory testing of soil and rock samples
* Facilitating good project management practices
* Take a proactive approach in the responsibility for Health and Safety
* Reflect and promote Van Elle company values through your work and conduct
Who we're looking for:
* IT competent in Microsoft packages
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to work effectively to deadlines and under pressure
* Good attention to detail and accuracy of work
* Effective planning and organisation skills
* A problem-solving attitude
* Have good written and verbal communication skills
* Willingness to learn and work within the relevant legal and safety regulations
* Experience in construction or other ground-related industries [preferable]
* Experience driving larger vehicles such as 4x4s and vans [preferable]
* Valid CSCS [preferable]
Other Requirements:
* Eligible to work and live in the UK.
* Flexibility to travel in the UK.
* A full driving licence, that is valid in the UK (essential)
