HE Lecturer – Teacher Education
1. Salary: £31,925 - £40,640 pro rata | £4,167 - £5,305 actual salary
2. Hours: 5.5 hours per week
3. Location: Selby College
At the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group, we have an amazing opportunity to teach our enthusiastic and passionate trainees on a Thursday evening, to inspire and motivate them achieve their highest potential.
As a HE Lecturer you will:
4. Design and deliver engaging schemes of learning and high-quality teaching, learning and assessment resources.
5. Facilitate the development of core knowledge and professional skills to support trainee success
6. Use a range of inclusive teaching methods, including digital tools, to enhance learner engagement and outcomes
7. Effectively produce and manage every trainee’s individual teaching plan to ensure they achieve their highest potential
We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through exceptional standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed.
You will have:
8. Degree in any subject
9. GCSE in Maths and English A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
10. Masters in Education or other related subject
11. Experience of working in the FE/HE sector
12. A PGCE or recognised full teaching qualification
