The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management, client-facing roles, and team leadership, with a focus on overseeing operations, managing workflows, and delivering high-quality reports in a technical environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead and mentor a dynamic team, while ensuring effective communication, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Client Relations: ? Oversee sales enquiries for desk studies, including preparing quotations and following upwith account management. ? Manage the order processing and scheduling of reports. ? Engage in bid writing and client communications to secure new business opportunities. ? Develop and enhance service offerings to meet client needs and market demands. Team Leadership and Personnel Management: ? Supervise, manage, and mentor a team of project research staff, handling HR-related functions and performance management. ? Leadand mentor team members to achieveobjectivesanddeliverables ? Monitor daily workflows, assigning tasks and managing resources to meet deadlines efficiently. ? Evaluate team performance metrics, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. ? Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to address bottlenecks. ? Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety guidelines. ? Act as the primary point of contact for resolving team or client-related issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions. Research, Data Management, and Reporting: ? Manage theGIS databases and ensure seamless information flow into the Research Department. ? Oversee and manage the research schedule to meet deadlines and deliverables. ? WritePreliminary andDetailedRiskAssessments in line with industry standards. ? Write TechnicalReports including Risk MitigationStrategies. ? Produce site activity reports for operations. ? Research and identify information sources, including direct liaison with external companies and organizations. ? Maintain and oversee internal databases and manage the overall responsibility for information management. ? Oversee the developmentof internal processes, expanding internal archives, and supporting organizational growth. ? Review andanalyseall report outputs to ensure quality and accuracy of information. ? Provide client communications and ensure consistent, clear reporting of findings. Additional Responsibilities: ? Case study production. ? Perform other duties as required to support team and organizational goals. Required Skills and Qualifications: ? Previous experience in a similar industry role. ? Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity, with a track record of managing personnel and overseeing team performance. ? Undergraduate degree in History, Archaeology, Geography, or a related field. ? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). ? Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. ? Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured reports. ? Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. ? Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple internal projects. ? Knowledge of GIS systems and database management preferred. ? Ability to communicate effectively with clients and external stakeholders. Additional Information: ? This role requires occasional travel to external locations for sourcing information. ?
