About this opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a project officer to support delivery of the Holiday Activity & Food Programme across Westmorland and Furness council.

You will have the opportunity to shape and deliver and streamline projects related to the Holiday Activity & Food Programme. This includes data collation & management, engagment with a range of partners including charities, small businesses, internal legal and finance teams.

Who we are looking for…

We are looking for individuals with strong excel skills, the abilty to set up and deliver on new projects and excellent communication skills, both written, face-to-face and over Teams.

We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience of project delivery. You will also have experience of measuring and reporting on outcomes to evidence the impact of the project.

You will need the ability to prioritise and manage work effectively, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will also have experience of collaborating across teams and partners to achieve positive outcomes for families.

You will be an enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated individual with a high level of excel skills, attention to detail and abilty to prioritise.

Ability to travel independently required.
