My client is an established firm in the engineering manufacturing sector, based in Leicester and commutable from Loughborough, Derby, Nottingham, Coventry and Northampton. They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join their team as the main Toolroom Machinist.
The Role - Toolroom CNC Machinist:
- Using a variety of machines to produce tooling and one off precision parts
- Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines
- Working on XYZ and Fanuc-controlled machines
- CNC Programming on ProtoTRAK
- Working from drawings
- Quality checking parts using various hand tools
- Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc
- Working independently
- Day Shifts
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - CNC Miller:
- Experience as a CNC Setter or CNC Programmer on Milling machines
- Skilled with XYZ machines
- Able to quality check own parts
- Motivated and excellent team player
- Able to commute to the LE8 area of Leicester
The Package - CNC Milling Setter:
- Starting pay rate up to £18.00 per hour
- Rate depending on skill and experience level
- Free onsite parking
- Day Shifts
- Overtime available
