Overview

Are you an innovative Headteacher or Senior Leader committed to supporting pupils with a primary diagnosis of SEMH and additional complex needs? We want to hear from SEN professionals who have the vision, drive, and ambition to inspire a multi-disciplinary team in delivering outstanding education and care for pupils with special educational needs. You will bring creativity and innovation to improving outcomes and support for pupils and their families. As an excellent communicator and ambassador for Acorn Education, you\'ll build strong partnerships with parents, local authorities, and key stakeholders. If you are a forward-thinking, highly motivated leader with a proven track record of driving whole-school improvement and making a lasting difference, this is the role for you.


About our School

Longdon Hall School is an independent specialist day school for ages from 7 to 18 years, catering for pupils with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our dedicated team work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life. Longdon Hall School is committed to providing a safe, joyful, and inspiring learning environment in which all pupils can develop academically, socially, emotionally, and morally to their full potential. Responsibilities and Requirements

* Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outstanding education and care for pupils with SEN.
* Champion high-quality, creative learning tailored to individual pupil needs and maximise achievement.
* Build partnerships with parents, local authorities, and key stakeholders; act as an ambassador for Acorn Education.
* Drive whole-school improvement with a track record of delivering lasting impact.
* Ensure safeguarding and welfare of pupils; supervise DBS checks and safeguarding compliance as part of recruitment.
* Maintain a clear vision and direction; drive ongoing personal and professional development for self and team.
* Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent; experience as a senior leader in an SEN school.

Outcomes First Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and young people. All applicants will be subject to safeguarding checks and a fully enhanced DBS. We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications. You\'ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay; 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit.
