Overview
Pharmacy Dispenser role at Tesco in Loughborough Rushes Superstore. Competitive pay starts from £12.87 per hour, rising to £14.08 in stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexible options down to 12 hours if needed.
Responsibilities
* Support the operation of a modern Pharmacy
* Dispense prescription medicines accurately and with attention to detail
* Interact with customers, providing confident, friendly and professional service
* Advise customers on common ailments, symptoms and products
* Understand customers’ needs and explain product benefits clearly
* Inform customers about available Pharmacy services
* Support the dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures
* Assess the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions
* Handle clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners
* Respond to customer queries about prescription medicines and relay feedback to Pharmacists
* Maintain clean, tidy dispensary and consulting rooms; ensure accurate and timely prescription administration
* Contribute to promotional activities and company initiatives
* Complete required training and stay up to date with legal and professional developments
Qualifications
* Pharmacy environment experience or qualifications
* A desire to train and develop in the Pharmacy field
