About the Role:
We are seeking a
Principal Structural Engineer
to join our team in Edinburgh, working on a diverse range of onshore building structure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a chartered engineer to take on a senior technical and leadership role within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of structural engineering projects across a variety of building sectors.
* Provide technical guidance, design oversight, and project management support.
* Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.
* Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Ensure projects are delivered to the highest technical and safety standards.
Requirements:
* Chartered Engineer (MIStructE) – essential.
* Proven experience working on building structures projects.
* Strong technical design skills across a variety of materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry).
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Ability to manage projects from concept through to completion.
