Job Title: Family Network Meeting Facilitator Salary: £39,027 - £44,463 per annum (pro rata if part-time) Grade: E Contract Type: Fixed Term - 18 months Working Hours: 37 Hours per week. About the Department The Think Family Service is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Family Network Meeting Facilitator who is ideally trained as a Family Group Conference Facilitator. Thurrock's Think Family Approach is strengths based with an emphasis on assessing the needs of the whole family and identifying their connected network at the earliest opportunity. The model is compatible with the Signs of Safety Roadmap and enables practitioners to involve the family and connected network in Family Network Meetings. Family Network Meetings are used across the department in statutory Children Services. If a Family Network Meeting is required to be assigned within the Think Family Service, this will be convened by a Network Meeting Facilitator. Family Network Meeting Facilitators will hold cases entering the Public Law Outline (PLO) or Court proceedings, if there is a complex family situation or independence is required. Family Network Meeting Facilitators support practitioners to convene Family Network Meetings, identify connected family networks and deliver training as required. About the Role The role requires you to organise meetings, visits family members, ascertain children's wishes and feelings, write up case notes and chair the meeting. You will need to be organised, work flexibly, and have good engagement skills.
