Your new role
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a broad and engaging Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will inspire pupils to develop independence, resilience, and a deeper love of learning, while maintaining high expectations for both behaviour and attainment.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum
2. Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
3. Assessing progress and using data effectively to inform teaching
4. Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
5. Promoting strong behaviour management and classroom routines
6. Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
7. Building positive relationships with parents and carers
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will:
8. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience is advantageous but not essential)
10. Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the KS2 curriculum
11. Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
12. Be passionate, adaptable, andmitted to raising standards.
13. Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to school life
