Assistant Store Manager – Elgin
We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our fashion store team in Elgin on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
Responsibilities
* Support the Store Manager with day‑to‑day store operations and take full responsibility in their absence.
* Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values.
* Ensure the highest standard of customer service.
* Achieve sales, visual merchandising and campaign targets.
* Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising.
* Maximise sales through physical and digital channels.
* Support recruitment and development of volunteers.
* Achieve expectations within campaign activities.
* Work with the manager to generate stock.
* Work flexible hours – including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
* Manage physical demands from donations, as required.
Qualifications
* Experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Supervisory experience.
* Commercially driven and able to encourage new ideas.
* Inclusive approach to developing teams.
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the highest retail standards.
