About the Role
You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and supporting core business applications — primarily focused on student or user information systems. What You’ll Be Doing
* Developing and maintaining web-based enterprise software applications
* Participating in system testing and process improvement initiatives
* Providing support and training to end users
* Working across multiple workstreams to deliver robust, scalable solutions
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure systems are integrated and efficient
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Experience in developing software for enterprise-level applications (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
* Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (Oracle APEX experience a plus)
* Ability to analyse complex systems and business processes
* Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
* A degree in a relevant IT discipline or equivalent professional qualifications and experience
* Commitment to equity, diversity, and continuous professional development
Desirable:
* Experience in public sector or education environments
* Familiarity with rapid application development, web services (REST/SOAP), and data exchange formats (JSON, XML)
* Understanding of IT security principles
* Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL Foundation)
