Job Title Product Manager What does a successful Product Manager do at Fiserv? The Product Manager oversees the development and implementation of a comprehensive credit card and consumer finance product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and our clients to stay ahead of emerging trends and needs. This role will lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for credit card and consumer finance solutions, working closely with various teams to design and deliver effective product solutions. A key role leading a portfolio of modernising capabilities, building new and enhancing existing solutions to benefit our customers and the evolving market in which they operate. Our platform capabilities include financial payment and processing solutions serving an extensive customer landscape of thousands of financial institutions and millions of businesses worldwide. What you will do: A natural leader: Excites and motivates teams to a common deliverable and purpose. Product-led and customer-focused: Enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class solutions for our clients. Strategic and operational: Responsible for setting and evangelising our credit card and consumer finance product vision and mobilising the team against that vision. Primary liaison: Partners with cross-functional teams and external vendors (Sales, Client Relations, Operations, Finance, Legal, Technology, Engineering, Architecture, Testing, Release, PMO) and serves as the primary communicator between stakeholders and teams. Ensures stakeholder buy-in on major decisions and strategy, and provides clear instructions and deliverables for engineering teams. Agile expertise : Hands-on experience with Agile development frameworks, including setting product strategy, wireframes, and demos. Subject matter expert: Drives scale and adoption of the credit card and consumer finance products internationally, clearly communicating the vision and goals. Proactive problem-solver: Identifies gaps in the current product offering and leads efforts to develop solutions that drive business and customer value. Industry awareness: Passionate about credit card and consumer finance industry trends, standards, and competitive offerings. Identifies opportunities for new value-added features. Commercial focus: Leads client-facing discussions, provides feedback on industry and market trends, learns from our customers, and applies insights to define the product. What you will need to have: Product strategy experience: Proven experience in driving product strategy and go-to-market plans that enable excellent user experiences, especially with card payments, credit card and consumer finance products. Strong communicator: Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, including clients. Self-motivated and results-focused: Takes ownership of issues through to resolution with a results-oriented mindset. Commercial acumen: Experienced in building business cases, handling P&L for the product, pricing, and responding to RFI/RFPs. Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive product management strategy aligned with business objectives and market needs. What would be great to have: Domain expertise : At least 5 years of experience in a product leadership role, ideally in card payment, credit card and consumer finance products. Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the credit card and consumer finance industry. Team leadership: Ability to motivate a cross-functional team to deliver to a common purpose. Problem-solving: Creativity and resourcefulness to overcome unexpected roadblocks.
