Overview
As our School Games Organiser and School Sport Coordinator, you will be at the heart of shaping inclusive, high-quality sporting opportunities across the schools. You will drive participation in school games and coordinate a vibrant calendar of events that energise students and empower teachers.
This is a part-time role for 26 hours per week, term-time only (plus 4 weeks), and the hours will be split as follows:
* School Games Organiser – 18 hours per week
* School Sport Coordinator – 8 hours per week (split evenly between Beacon Academy and Uplands Academy)
* The School Games Organiser contract is fixed term for six months, and the School Sport Coordinator role is fixed term for one year. These may be extended subject to funding.
* The role currently encompasses two key components, but these may be divided into separate positions should that better suit individual preferences.
* Flexibility to work from home requests will be considered at a later date.
About Beacon Academy
Beacon Academy is a split-site, semi-rural, mixed 11–18 academy located in Crowborough, East Sussex.
