Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great, natural service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Applying training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Delivering customer-focused routines in store and making decisions that meet customer needs.
* Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
* Understanding the store’s performance and the part you play to drive service, sales, reduce waste and protect profit.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Representing Tesco values and following policies; being welcoming to everyone.
* Occasionally accepting deliveries into the store.
You will need
* A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile.
* The ability to build rapport so customers leave with a great shopping experience.
* To take initiative and make decisions that are right for customers.
* Work well within a team and communicate openly with others.
* Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and celebrate success.
* Be punctual, well presented and a brand ambassador.
