Rayden Engineering Ltd is a Mechanical & Civil Engineering Company based in the East Midlands of England, specialising in pre-fabrication, welding and installation of pipework systems of a variety of alloys. We also install cross-country pipelines, pipeline diversions (up to 30), and above ground installations (AGIs). We are executing major contracts nationwide for major oil & gas companies that include AGIs, pipelines and major civil works.
Job Responsibilities
* Carrying out take-offs and preparation of tender submissions.
* Organise appropriate tender enquiries.
* Administrate correspondence and tender documents.
* Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates in a timely and efficient manner.
Preferred Skills
* Previous estimating experience in the utilities (gas, water and/or power) and/or pipeline industry.
* Production of tenders/prices/rates from first principles.
* Proven track record of successful bidding and securing projects.
* Good understanding of project management requirements and associated terminology and techniques.
* Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications and Experience
* HNC or Degree (or equivalent).
* Site-based engineering experience.
* Proven successful estimating experience.
* Considerable variety in types of work priced.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing.
* Highly organised and self-motivated.
* A minimum of 5 years experience is required.
