Due to the continued growth at Stronamax and strong customer demand a position has become available for an Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic LV.
Responsibilities
* Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
* Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles.
* Diagnose and Repair the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
* Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
* Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment.
* Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values.
* Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
* And can step up as a 2ic role.
Requirements
* Must hold a current drivers licence with the ability to drive manual and automatic.
* Excellent problem solving skills with quality workmanship and an eye for detail
* Previous dealership experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
* Road worthy and air conditioning tickets are desirable
* Minimum 1-2 years of automotive experience required
