JOB TITLE: Remarketing Service Inspector
SALARY: starting from £28,708
LOCATION: Milton Keynes with regular travel to Bruntingthorpe
HYBRID WORKING: 3 days per week from the office.
HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Full time permanent (35 hours per week)

We’re looking for a Remarketing Service Inspector to ensure that volume, quality and spend on all vehicles at central storage is controlled. Dealing with over 75,000 units annually, onsite management of c.£1bn of assets high standards need to be upheld, throughput needs to be maintained and alignment to the overall Remarketing strategy needs to be implemented.
This unique role will be instrumental delivering successful auditing of key vehicle pre-sales processes requiring regular travel to third-party sites across the UK.
What you’ll be doing:
* Conduct stock audits that are a regulatory requirement for ensuring vehicles are accounted for.
* Ensure the budget allocated to refurbishment spend is appropriately used to maximise return on investment.
* Reconciliation of backup data for completed work against invoices, checking and approving for payment.
* Monitoring of stock throughput, ensuring pre-sale processes are prioritised and stock churn targets are maintained.
* Monitoring the security provisions ensuring that security measures meet contractual obligations and any gaps are immediately addressed and escalated to Remarketing Senior Management.
* Provide on-site support and guidance for the quarterly stock audit including pre-audit checks of stock at locations across sites.
What you’ll bring:
You’ll be an experienced individual within a Remarketing, Automotive or Financial Services sector.
You’ll have a keen eye for detail and understanding of the end to end de‑fleet, pricing and remarketing processes.
Essential experience & skills
* Full UK driving licence essential.
* Highly developed organisational skills.
* Good decision making skills.
* Ability to prioritise and plan own workload effectively to encompass completion of audits at various locations and invoice reconciliation in the office.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Report writing skills including excellent excel skills.
* An “all weather” person, some aspects of this role will be field based and require a significant amount of time outside in all weathers.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Resilient and self‑motivated with capability to work under own initiative.

Bonus: Discretionary 10% on‑target bonus (based on personal and Group company performance)
Pension: Employer pension contribution of 9% (based on employee contribution of 3%). VWFS will pay 6% if employee chooses a 2% employee contribution.
