Project HR Business Partner – 6-Month Contract

We’re working with a leading public sector organization embarking on an exciting HR transformation project. They are seeking a Project HR Business Partner to lead the review, evaluation, and improvement of HR policies and to design and implement a new HR SharePoint portal that enhances communication, accessibility, and efficiency across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a passion for process improvement and digital enablement to make a real impact on how HR information is delivered and experienced across a large, complex organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a comprehensive review of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with best practice, legal compliance, and organizational goals.
* Identify gaps and inefficiencies, proposing and implementing practical, effective improvements.
* Collaborate with HR leadership, legal, and key stakeholders to update and communicate new policies.
* Develop and launch a new SharePoint HR portal, creating an engaging, intuitive platform for all HR documents, policies, and resources.
* Work closely with IT and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of the new portal.
* Manage communication and change activities to drive engagement and adoption across the organization.
* Provide guidance and support to HR teams and leaders throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience & Skills Required
* Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or HR project role, ideally within a large or complex organization.
* Solid experience with stakeholder management throughout the wider business.
* Strong understanding of HR policy management, compliance, and best practice.
* Demonstrable experience with SharePoint development or administration, including page design and content management.
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement and change management.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and project management skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and collaboration platforms.
* Must be eligible for BPSS.
