The role
As a Cost Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our Spares and Kitting business within the Nuclear Services workstream. This is a dynamic role where you’ll combine cost management with project controls, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting key decision-making.
Day-to-day, you'll be
1. Supporting cost engineers with financial reporting and project controls activities.
2. Managing profit and loss accounts, cash flow, and account balancing.
3. Presenting cost data and statistical insights to inform management decisions.
4. Monitoring delivery performance against customer KPIs.
5. Contributing to the development of our in-house finance forecasting system.
This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week. Hybrid working patterns are available, with three days on-site based in Warrington, Cheshire.
Essential experience of the Cost Specialist:
6. Hands-on experience with profit and loss accounts, cash flow, and account balancing.
7. Experience managing commercial elements of contracts, including payment terms and conditions.
8. Strong financial reporting and analytical skills.
Qualifications for the Cost Specialist:
9. Degree in a relevant field (preferred)
