Job Description
A local authority based in the East Midlands is seeking a Childcare Lawyer for an initial period of three months.
The successful Childcare Lawyer will be required to carry a full and complex caseload from the outset. You will advise on matters under the Children’s Act 1989 and the Adoption and Children Act 2002, applications for care, supervision, emergency protection, secure accommodation, child assessment and placement orders. You will also carry a caseload of matters relating to special guardianship, contact, adoption and NAI. Previous local government experience in this area is preferred.
This is a full-time position 37.5 hours per week and is an hybrid working role. You will need to attend the office weekly.
The pay rate om offer for the role is £55 umbrella.
You must have a current practising certificate and litigation rights to be considered for the role.
