As a Principal Electrical Engineer, youll play a vital role in electrical engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Opportunities are available in our offices located in Bristol, Surrey, Derby, Manchester, Leeds, and Glasgow (other locations may be considered).
Your Purpose
1. Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
3. Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines.
4. Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Adhere to quality assurance standards in design processes.
What you can bring
* Chartered Electrical Engineer.
* Extensive experience in the Water Industry.
* Proven leadership in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
* Strong knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control centres/switchgear, electrical installations and systems within industrial/process environments, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEX practices, production of SLD/BCD diagrams, earthing and bonding, and familiarity with UK design standards.
* Proficiency in digital analysis software such as Trimble/Amtech, following local and national guidance.
