Vehicle Technician
Location: Bishops Stortford
Salary: Up to £52,480 OTE (uncapped)
Hours: Mon–Fri 08:30–17:00 + 1 in 3 Saturdays
A leading workshop in Bishop’s Stortford is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for a Vehicle Technician who wants strong earning potential, modern facilities, and ongoing training including hybrid and EV development.
Vehicle Technician Role:
As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
Pre‑delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
Servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
Vehicle health checks and reporting required work
Minor repairs, diagnostics and electrical checks
Warranty work and accurate job write‑ups
Road‑testing vehicles to confirm repairs
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
Full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and high workshop standards
Diagnostic, MOT or EV experience is a bonus but not essentialMultiple roles available: PDI Technician, Prep Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Senior Technician, Master Technician.
