Pay Range: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum. Working Hours/Pattern: Full‑time, with consideration for part‑time work. Flexible working arrangements are evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis.
Job Description
Employment Adviser – a frontline role within Reed in Partnership’s Employability Division, dedicated to supporting long‑term unemployed jobseekers, engaging local employers, and promoting the Restart Scheme.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of a caseload of long‑term unemployed jobseekers, identifying barriers and creating tailored action plans to progress them into employment.
* Deliver personalised, one‑to‑one guidance, including CV writing, interview preparation, and skills development.
* Meeting and exceeding performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Collaborate with participants to shift mindsets and build confidence.
* Engage with local employers to identify job opportunities.
* Signpost participants to internal and external stakeholders to address specific barriers such as health, housing, or financial challenges.
* Promote the Restart Scheme within the community, raising awareness of its benefits and impact.
* Provide inclusive support and advice to people from all backgrounds.

Qualifications
* Ability to demonstrate coaching/mentoring experience and persuasion/influencing skills.
* Experience in a customer‑facing environment (e.g., customer services, hospitality, social care, sales).
* Experience in a fast‑paced, performance target‑driven environment.
* Willingness to travel locally.
* A minimum of two A‑Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma plus GCSE English Language with a minimum grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification); or achievement of a Level 2 Literacy Assessment at interview stage; or international equivalent attainment.
Desirable Criteria
* Fluency in more than one language.
