We are recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join our facilities team at Highfield Leadership Academy in Blackpool. The academy provides a safe, modern environment for pupils, staff, and our team. Reporting to the Area Cleaning Supervisor, you will supervise and undertake cleaning duties to ensure a hygienic environment.
The role is term-time only (with 4 weeks deep clean), working 3.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday (15 hours/week).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuuming, litter bin emptying, polishing, and dusting, including toilets and showers, using appropriate equipment.
* Moving furniture as needed.
* Performing duties in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Assisting in other establishments when required.
* Reporting accidents, damages, or irregularities.
* Attending meetings and performing duties as assigned.
* Managing stock, inputting wages, and supervising staff.
* Securing premises when required.
* Covering cleaning roles during absences.
* Following COSHH guidelines when handling chemicals.
* Ensuring materials and stock levels are maintained.
* Updating legislation and site documentation.

This role is subject to satisfactory completion of an Enhanced DBS check.
