We have been baking in Whitby for over 150 years. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and great work ethic to join our fantastic Bakery team at Enterprise Way. The right person must be reliable, dependable, Botham's training will be provided. They will take great pride in their baking, ensuring products are made to an excellent standard every time. A can-do attitude and team-player mentality are key to move between different sectors of the bakery as required during our busy shifts.
Early starts between 3.00 and 4.00 am - 8+ hour shifts.
32+ hours. Permanent position. Monday to Saturday with rotated day off.
Pay rate noted is for induction period, increasing when passed training.
Immediate start.
Availability to work Saturdays is essential, as is flexibility to cover holidays when required.

Summary
As a trainee baker, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting food production operations and upholding safety protocols. Your core skills in food production will be essential in maintaining a clean and efficient bakery workspace.
Useful Abilities
* Experience in bakery production
* Take pride in baking a premium product to exacting standards.
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
* Knowledge of bakery equipment
* Ability to follow hygiene and safety protocols
* Strong attention to detail and cleanliness in work habits
* Ability to work in a physical role involving lifting and manual work.
