Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am – 5pm Friday – off Job Description: As Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all site facilities, utilities, and manufacturing equipment. This hands-on position combines technical maintenance expertise with the management of site infrastructure and services, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the Facilities & Maintenance team. * Plan and deliver both planned preventative (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities. * Oversee site infrastructure, utilities, and building services including HVAC, power, and water systems. * Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, and contractor services. * Drive continuous improvement and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives. * Ensure compliance with PUWER, LOLER, PSSR, COSHH, and other relevant standards. * Lead risk assessments and permit-to-work systems. * Monitor energy and utility usage and recommend efficiency improvements. * Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and capital projects. * Maintain accurate maintenance and asset records via CMMS. Skills & Experience: Essential: * HND/HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline. * Proven experience managing maintenance and facilities in a manufacturing or industrial setting. * Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, utilities, and statutory compliance. * Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills. * Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office. * Commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices. Desirable: * IOSH or NEBOSH certification. * Experience with project or energy management. * Familiarity with lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
