Job Description

* Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and contracts.
* Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, ensuring compliance with policies.
* Support the procurement team with supplier management and communication.
* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
* Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages.
* Provide administrative support, including document management and data entry.
* Help with the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
* Ensure adherence to public sector procurement regulations and guidelines.

The Successful Applicant

* Experience in administrative or procurement roles within the public sector or similar industries (or transferable skills from a university degree for example being competent with MS Office)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams effectively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
