Secondment: Policy Assistant Refugee & Asylum Seeker Team
An opportunity has arisen for a Policy Assistant to be seconded fulltime until due to the current post holder being successful in covering another role within the council.

Working in the Refugee and Asylum Seeker Team (RAS Team), you will support the team in the delivery of strategic planning, commissioning and enabling for all aspects of resettlement and integration in the borough.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team as well as operating management information systems for the collation and monitoring of statistical analysis reports. You will also be responsible for the assessing of central government data sets as well as responding to customer and stakeholder enquiries to aid the effective delivery of resettlement and integration in the borough.
You will possess sound analytical skills, have experience of monitoring statistics and interpreting data, have a good understanding of resettlement policies; be fully computer literate with a working knowledge of appropriate computer applications.
if you would like to be considered, you’ll first need the approval of your manager. This is defined as your head of service - but essentially, whoever manages the team you work in (as opposed to the Head of Service who would typically report into a Director).
