About the Role: Salary range: £40,000 to £50,000 plus benefits, immediate start The Supply Chain / Operations Manager will play a crucial role, overseeing and coordinating the company's manufacturing and supply chain activities, responsible for managing purchasing, logistics, quality assurance, supplier relationships, and compliance standards to ensure efficient operations, cost management, and high-quality product delivery. Key Responsibilities: Purchasing & Supply Chain Management: Oversee procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials. Collaborate with suppliers to develop and maintain strong relationships. Drive initiatives to reduce Bill of Materials (BOM) costs. Manage off-site storage solutions, including short-term and long-term inventory management. Working with a small team you will also be responsible for Logistics & Operations, Quality Assurance and Supplier Relationship Development to Identify and qualify new suppliers, negotiate contracts / terms and foster collaborative relationships to ensure supply continuity and quality. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience in supply chain or operations management within a manufacturing orientated business. Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics, procurement, and inventory management. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and certification processes. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain supplier relationships. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving skills. and continuous improvement mindset.
