The Eastern Pathology Alliance is formed from three Pathology Laboratories based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH), the James Paget University Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn. The Laboratory at NNUH provides a large range of Blood Sciences services comprising Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology and Transfusion, Immunology and Toxicology.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Blood Sciences manager, NNUH immunology clinical lead and be line manager to the immunology technical BMS staff. Demonstrable experience of managing staff and pathology services is essential.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist who has extensive experience working in immunology and managing staff to oversee the management and operation of our immunology laboratory at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. This role is based at the NNUH hub site and will be the service lead and subject matter expert for all aspects of the immunology laboratory service.
