Arka Learning is an exciting new startup with a bold vision to transform supplementary education in the UK. Our mission is to deliver outstanding educational programmes that are accessible to parents and bring joy to learning for students. We are building a network of innovative Learning Centres across the UK, initially supporting primary age students with Maths and English.
We are seeking two Assistant Centre Managers to join us in this transformative adventure in education. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Arka learning with the potential to become a Centre Director or move into a Head Office role as the company grows.
The Role
This is a varied role that will allow successful candidates to develop their skills and experience in operations, management, sales and education.
Key areas of responsibility will vary as we establish new routines and working practices, but will encompass:
1. Assisting the Centre Director with overall management and operations of the centre
2. Tutoring primary aged students in English and Maths
3. Acting as a role model to less experienced tutors and assisting with training where appropriate
4. Marking initial assessments and determining students’ Learning Plans from our curriculum
5. Tracking students’ progress and overseeing the rewards system
