Pay Rate: 14.30 – 16.00 per hour

A nurturing primary school in Darwen is looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their early years team for the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is seeking a role that could become permanent.
You will support children’s early development, help deliver creative learning activities, and ensure the EYFS environment remains safe, engaging and supportive. The school has a strong reputation for its caring ethos and commitment to early learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting children in all areas of the EYFS framework
* Assisting with early literacy, numeracy and play‑based learning
* Helping to maintain a stimulating classroom environment
* Observing and documenting progress
* Working closely with the EYFS team

* Experience working with early years children
* A warm, enthusiastic and child‑centred approach
* Strong understanding of early development
* Good communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
