Job Description:
NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.
We are in the fortunate position of attracting many new members to our Child and Adolescent Mental Health team. We are proud of our developments as a growing multidisciplinary team. There is energy and optimism to continue growing and improving our services for children and young people, but there is still work to do. We seek enthusiastic and skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologists to join us.
Whether you are an experienced clinician or at the early stages of your career (qualifying in 2025), we want to hear from you. Opportunities exist in various areas of our service, with initial focus on helping us achieve the Referral to Treatment Target. Our team is located at The Phoenix Centre, next to Raigmore Hospital, facilitating support and learning from multidisciplinary colleagues.
We value your passions, skills, and growth. We support Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and training needs identified through personal appraisal, offering opportunities for post-qualification training in specific therapeutic modalities.
The Highlands are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, with stunning geography and urban amenities like Eden Court Theatre, restaurants, bars, and shops in Inverness. There are also opportunities for loch swimming after work.
Part-time hours will be considered, and a relocation package may be available.
If you are interested in relocating to Inverness and want to speak with team members who have done so, we can arrange a conversation for you.
