You'll plan, direct, and coordinate smooth daily operations, lead people management activities, ensure compliance (including H&S and HACCP), and support continuous improvement to drive performance and service continuity. About you (Essential) Experience managing in a warehousing environment Excellent communication, people management, and customer service skills Strong organisation, administration, and problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment Thorough knowledge of distribution operations, including H&S and HACCP High-level computer literacy with accurate reporting and strong spreadsheet capability Ability to interpret operational data and identify issues quickly Willingness to support the business by living the company values Exposure to LEAN / Continuous Improvement (CI) Strong Microsoft suite skills, with an emphasis on accuracy Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent), with Maths and English at grade C or above Nice to have skills NVQ Level 3 Experience compiling and presenting KPIs to senior level Project experience (including warehouse layout/design) Advanced spreadsheet/database capability Experience of review, control and keeping within a set budget Preferred Education and Experience GCSE Maths and English (grade C or above, or equivalent) Proven track record leading a team in a fast-moving, customer-focused warehouse operation Experience with operational reporting (KPIs) and maintaining accurate administration records Other requirements Willingness to support business needs during peak periods and operational changes Commitment to health and safety responsibilities and compliance duties in line with relevant legislation and company procedures For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
