The Role
We require care assistants to help vulnerable people to manage their daily activities and to live as independently as possible in a purpose built residential service.
Required Criteria - Essential
* Minimum of 3 years paid experience in the UK working as a care assistant
* Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
* Have the right to work in the UK and a National insurance number
* Have evidence of mandatory training certificates within the last 12 months (or willing to undergo training)
* Must have a clear Enhanced DBS that is registered online
* Be able to provide 2 professional care references covering 3 years
* Must have an up to date CV with no gaps
* Confident character with good energy
* Medication trained
* NVQ in Health and Social Care
* Ability to work days and night shifts
* Commitment to professional development
Skills specific to role
* Experience of working in a care home
* Experience of dementia care
* Experience working with the elderly
